Many times we view failure in a negative context when we should view is a lesson that we can learn from. I recently read an article from StartupNation that really brought this into focus for me. In particular, I liked the following points:

• Stay Positive - This is the most important point. If you say positive, you can view the lens of a mistake or failure in a positive light. You can’t be pollyanna about everything, but take every mistake or failure and turn it into something positive so you can maintain momentum. “Positivity in the face of adversity can make all the difference between remaining stagnant and pushing through setbacks.“

• Mistakes Will Happy - Mistakes occur in all types of businesses large and small. How you deal with mistakes will determine whether you ultimately succeed or fail. And dealing with them doesn’t mean you keep resurfacing them or ignoring them. “Don’t spend unnecessary time and energy dwelling on your mistakes.“

• It’s not the End - Staying positive and acknowledging mistakes will lay the foundation for your future. A mistake or failure is not the end of your journey, it’s just another step for you to learn. “Failure isn’t the end of your story; instead, it’s a pivotal moment which you can leverage to improve, grow, and feel empowered.”
